This Privacy Policy explains how ResearchAce handles information when users access the application. ResearchAce is developed and operated by Enthuse Business Consultancy CC in Namibia.
1. Information about ResearchAce
ResearchAce is an educational application that provides research proposal notes, final research and thesis guidance, practice tests, video tutorials and access to academic consultation services.
ResearchAce does not require users to create an account, provide a name, upload a profile picture or sign in.
2. Information collected automatically
ResearchAce uses third-party services that may automatically process limited technical information. This may include:
- Approximate location derived from the device's IP address;
- App interactions, including app launches, taps and video or advertisement views;
- Diagnostic information relating to application and advertising performance; and
- Device or advertising identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID and app-set ID.
This information may be used for analytics, advertising, fraud prevention, security and legal compliance.
3. Advertising
The free version of ResearchAce displays advertisements provided through Google AdMob. Google Mobile Ads may collect and share an IP address, app-interaction information, diagnostic information and device or advertising identifiers.
Google may use this information to provide advertisements, measure advertisement performance, perform analytics and prevent fraudulent activity.

4. Premium subscriptions
ResearchAce offers optional monthly and yearly subscriptions that remove advertisements. All educational content and core features remain available without subscribing.
Subscription payments are processed through Google Play. ResearchAce does not directly collect or store users' bank card or payment details. The application receives limited purchase-history and subscription-status information to determine whether advertisements should be removed.
Purchase information is used only to provide and manage the subscription service and help prevent fraudulent purchases.
5. Online content and Supabase
ResearchAce retrieves educational materials, practice questions, thumbnails and video tutorials from Supabase. Supabase may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request information, when delivering this online content.

6. Consultations and documents
ResearchAce displays an email address that users may voluntarily use to request consultations, editing or other academic support services.
ResearchAce does not automatically access or upload files from a user's device. If a user voluntarily sends a research proposal, thesis, dissertation or another document by email, that information will be used to respond to the enquiry and provide the requested service.
Documents and personal information voluntarily submitted for consultations will not be used for advertising. They will only be shared when necessary to provide the requested service, when the user has given permission, or when required by law.
7. Data retention
Information and documents voluntarily submitted for consultations will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes or comply with legal obligations.
Information processed by Google Play, Google AdMob and Supabase is retained according to the respective provider's policies.
8. Data security
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information handled through ResearchAce and its related services. Information transmitted between the application and its service providers is encrypted in transit.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children's privacy
ResearchAce is intended as an academic research-learning application and is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. Children should use the application with the knowledge and guidance of a parent, guardian or responsible educator where appropriate.
10. User choices
Users may reset or delete their Android advertising ID through their device settings. Users may also purchase a premium subscription to use ResearchAce without advertisements.
A user who has voluntarily submitted information or documents for a consultation may contact us to request access, correction or deletion, subject to applicable legal and record-keeping requirements.
11. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when ResearchAce, its services or applicable legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page, together with its effective date.
